Phénergan Syrup®

- Child 2-6 years: according to doctor's prescription
- Child 6 to 12 years old: 1 to 2 teaspoons per dose 2-3 times a day (max 5 spoons)
- Child> 12 years: 2 to 4 teaspoons per dose 4 times a day (max 10 spoons)
- Adult: 4 teaspoons per dose, 4 to 5 times a day
(1 teaspoon = 5 ml = 5 mg promethazine)

An antihistamine is a drug used as a competitive histamine receptor antagonist,
which therefore serves to reduce or eliminate the effects of this endogenous chemical mediator released, inter alia, during allergic reactions.

5 ml of syrup contains 5 mg of promethazine.

Antihistamine used in the following cases:
- Allergies: spasmodic rhinitis, conjunctivitis and urticaria
- Symptomatic treatment of pruritic dermatological conditions (eczema, prurigo)
- Motion sickness
